Our School districts are proud to report that 85% of Willowbrook students are enrolled in College within 16 months of graduation. This success is a result of the collaboration among school districts 45, 48 and 88
District 45
School District 45 successfully prepares over 3300 students to navigate a dynamic world every day in six elementary and two middle schools. North School and Ardmore School are the two elementary schools that serve the students in the Garden Village of Villa Park. The middle schools are Jackson Middle School and Jefferson Middle School.

With the wisdom of over 160 years, District 45 is moving fast into the future creating 21st century learning spaces. Two 21st century classrooms serve as examples for long-range planning now taking place in the District. The seven-member Board of Education monitors goals outlined in a Strategic Plan, which focuses on two themes: collaboration and high levels of learning for all. The District receives support from an active PTA Council, with representatives from each school. The students and staff also benefit from annual grants funded each year by the District 45 Foundation.

“Now more than ever, I am excited about the future of School District 45 and all we have planned for our students,” said Dr. Anthony Palmisano, who serves as the Superintendent.

Salt Creek School District 48

Salt Creek School District 48 is a Pre-Kindergarten-Eighth grade public school district that serves approximately 500 students who reside in the southeast corner of Villa Park, Oakbrook Terrace, and small sections of Oak Brook and Elmhurst. We operate three grade level centers. Salt Creek Primary School, in Elmhurst, serves children in PK-K and 1. Stella May Swartz School in Oabrook Terrace serves grades 2-3-4. John E. Albright Middle School, which also houses the District Office, serves grades 5-6-7-8 and is located in Villa Park.

District 48 is an outstanding small school district that takes much pride in our diversity and "family feel approach" to educating our students. As seen on the video clip on our website (www.saltcreek48.org), our students, teachers and parents take much pride in our district. Our tagline is "Teaching Tomorrow's Leaders" which is demonstrated by the many student leadership opportunities we provide our students. In addition to great academics, we offer a full complement of student government, clubs, and sports to enrich our students' academic experiences. We are one of the oldest school districts in DuPage County, serving students in our community for 182 years!

We have recently begun a series of significant renovations on our schools, funded by a successful $8 million successful bond referendum in November 2016, to complete a number of needed repairs on our school facilities. We are initiating a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program for our K-4 students, to enable them to experience the coordination of these curricular areas in a problem based format.
